Too famous Blue Pond

The Blue Pond is next to Asahikawa city and takes about 1 hour driving. The striking blue color of the pond is not the result of pigments or dyes but is instead caused by the presence of natural minerals dissolved in the water. The hue can vary depending on the weather and lighting conditions, giving the pond an ethereal and magical appearance. The Blue Pond is famous for Apple Mac wallpaper but during the winter it freezes…

If you can’t see Blue Pond, you still can see the Blue River next to Blue Pond. Please don’t give up.

Too famous White beard Water fall “Shirahige no Taki”

Shirahige no Taki is another beautiful natural attraction in the Biei area of Hokkaido, Japan. The name “Shirahige” translates to “white beard,” and it aptly describes the appearance of the waterfall when it freezes in winter, resembling a white beard of ice. Like the Blue Pond, Shirahige no Taki has become a notable location for tourists visiting Hokkaido, especially those exploring the scenic beauty of Biei and its surroundings. Travelers often appreciate the changing appearances of the waterfall throughout the seasons, from the lush greenery of summer to the frozen icicles of winter.

If you have a time, please also try Japanese hot springs next to Shirahige no taki.

Too famous soup curry

It is a fusion of traditional Japanese curry and a soup-based dish. Unlike the thicker and more stew-like Japanese curry, soup curry has a lighter and thinner broth, often flavored with a variety of herbs and spices. This is a popular and delicious dish that originated in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
